Tennessee’s runaway recruiting momentum continues to build as the Vols have picked up a commitment today from 4-star Nashville safety Rashaan Gaulden.
Gaulden measures 6-foot-1 and weighs in at 175 pounds. He is rated a 4-star prospect by Rivals and a 3-star by Scout, ESPN and 247sports.

Gaulden is the fifth Tennessee commitment this week and the 23rd of the 2014 class.
“I really like UT,” Gaulden told the Tennessean last month. “It’s a great program, they’ve got some great coaches, and they’re doing a lot of stuff you want to see from a program that wasn’t really that great last year. Even though they haven’t played a down, they’re already turning heads. They definitely have my attention.”
Gaulden sat out 2013 after transferring from Brentwood Academy, but In 2011, he led his team with 72.5 tackles and four interceptions.
Gaulden was primarily recruited by Tommy Thigpen.
