Measuring 6-foot-3 and weighing around 185 pounds, Pearson is rated a 4-star prospect by 247. Some analysts believe he could end up as the top-rated JUCO receiver in the 2014 class. Pearson is the type of talent who would be expected to come in and contribute right away.
Pearson was on campus this weekend with his parents after telling Rivals.com last week that he couldn’t wait to take in a game in Neyland Stadium.
“I want to see how fast the game is and the fans. They support me a lot on twitter and they seem to have a good fanbase and a family atmosphere over there so I’m really excited,” Pearson said.
Butch Jones, while unable to comment specifically on recruits, tweeted the following shortly after Pearson’s commitment broke.

Pearson reportedly had 13 catches for 235 yards and a touchdown last week, bringing his season totals to 60 receptions for 1116 yards and 10 touchdowns in just six games (unconfirmed).
