Wednesday at the Big Orange TipOff Club event held at Calhoun’s on the river, Head Coach Butch Jones said Tennessee will sign 18-22 in the 2015 recruiting cycle.
Butch Jones says he expects Vols will sign 18-22 in 2015 class “but it’s always in flux.”

After signing a hefty load of 32 players in the 2014 class, Tennessee will be looking at a significantly smaller class this year.
Speculating on signing class numbers is one of Vol fans’ favorite pastimes, especially near the end of the calendar year when signing day creeps near. This statement from Jones certainly won’t curb those conjectures.
Jones acknowledged the fluidity of college recruiting and left the number up to some speculation with the “it’s always in flux,” qualification. The tally could very well change based on any scholarship players that leave the program between now and February of next year.
Tennessee currently has seven verbal commitments for the 2015 class, meaning there’s room for 11-15 more depending on where the final number ends up.
