George Kidd graduated with my sister if I remember correctly. I could be wrong. 1992 was a long time ago. Cool dude even if he did go to Milan. Al Wilson trucked me when I was a freshman. I decided after that I should go back to baseball.
Soft bruh…

How you let Al Wilson fade you??

I was thinkin, it was not Tee, but Jamal Lewis, in the bench showdown.

Darwin Walker was pretty stout back then, too.
Al and Jamal both cleared 450 lbs and then were told to stop.
Tee Martin and Steven Marsh benched 400 lbs
Travis Henry also benched 400 lbs

Peerless Price and Travis Stevens both squated 500+ and Cedric Wilson had a 385 lbs bench at a 175 lbs.

They had all those records in the old weight room.

Very strong team

As we have said in numerous war rooms before, Tennessee has been the team to beat for Lagonza "Shaedy" Hayward for months, and he has said as much, yet has maintained the desire to go through official visits before making a final decision in the summer. Getting him back to campus alongside other top recruits is big for Tennessee this weekend, as they have a prime opportunity to continue to build momentum in this one. Tim Banks has positioned the Vols nicely in this one heading into the summer.

“Tennessee is like a second home so I was like why not go up and have a little vacation before I take all these official visits,” Hayward said. “It was mainly fun just spending time with people I’m going to play with in the future.”

I would have to see the video of Peerless squatting 500. Saw him on campus a few times during those years and he was a small guy.

The record was on the wall. So the whole team saw him do that.

And he was 190 lbs. not tiny but not huge either.

Cedric Wilson almost benching 400 lbs at 175 is absolutely crazy tho.
