* I think I have the tiebreakers figured out.
* This is seemingly the first time I can recall where no games have been cancelled or tied.
* I hate to say this but it's conceivable that 8-12 will not get to the magic 13 conference win total. Ole Miss and Fla have to win last 2 games. I don't have faith that Vandy can win a game in Lexington. Alabama has already lost a game 2 Auburn- who is not as bad as their record indicates as their schedule was brutal.
* South Carolina may not get to 14 and if they don't then they may be left at the altar.
* If there are 6 teams at or below 13 SEC wins, then that first day will be INSANE
* I know we think the SEC may get 9 times into tourney but I think it will be hard to get more than two teams with 13 wins into regional play. There are a solid six teams in now. (KY, TN,AR, A&M, GA and Miss State) If SC is swept and goes One-and-'cue in Hoover, it's possible that other SEC or non-SEC teams may get their spot.
With the loss last night, I think it will be hard for Arkansas not to be swept at A&M. Tennessee

SEC RPIs per Warren Nolan and his predictions after this weekend

1 AM predicted RPI 1 3-0 vs AR
2 KY predicted RPI 2 3-0 vs VU
3 GA predicted RPI 4 3-0 vs FL
4 AR predicted RPI 2 0-3 vs A&M
5 TN predicted RPI 5 3-0 vs SC
14 AL predicted RPI 17 0-3 vs Aub
20 MS predicted RPI 18 3-0 vs MO
22 SC predicted RPI 20 0-3 vs TN
25 OM predicted RPI 23 1-2 vs LSU
29 VU predicted RPI 24 2-1 vs KY
31 FL predicted RPI 27 2-1 vs GA
33 LSU predicted RPI 36 2-1 vs OM
43 AUB predicted RPI 39 3-0 vs AL
107 MO predicted RPI 107 0-3 vs MS

Alabama has a high RPI but will not get selected as a 12 conference win team. They get in with 13

I’m assuming all 5 of them will make it into the ncaa tournament. Right?
Not likely. That would mean 11 SEC teams make it and I just don’t see them doing that. Usually 14 wins is guaranteed and I think I saw something like 30% of 13-win teams make it. If 9 teams get selected that would mean they accepted three 13-win teams. I think 9 would be generous, 8 is more likely imo.

Agreed. That’s also where it gets squirrelly due to factors outside of sec record and sect record, such as rpi and others metrics considered by the committee.

Yep, there are going to be a few butthurt teams in the SEC but you know what, should’ve won more games and you wouldn’t be in your situation!

Personally, if Alabama gets to 13 wins then Florida, Vanderbilt, and LSU should be left out based on their metrics.

If Florida gets in it's a travesty.
I agree wholeheartedly but the NCAA has shown preferential treatment to teams that have been successful in the CWS before. Just like the other college sports. There isn’t a set in stone selection process like the professional sports. College sports is all about your past reputation and if the humans like you or not unfortunately.

I’m surprised that there are 4 teams at 13-17
South Carolina has been sitting in 13 wins for 2 weeks but the other three teams had to surprise to get there

I’m surprised LSU swept Ole Miss. I thought Rebels would win after least 1.

I’m stunned Florida got off their death bed to win 2 games in Athens. UGA’s early season pitching problems may be coming back?

I thought going in to weekend that Vandy should win 1 games over Kentucky not an surprised they did after even failing to put in an appearance in first 2 games.

I believe LSU will need to beat UGA on Tuesday. Georgia will not likely be trying that hard and will be throwing some scrub.

Alabama will need to win 2 games
South Carolina will likely need to beat Alabama to feel some comfort but a win over Arkansas should do it.

Florida has to beat Vanderbilt but I’m not sure Vanderbilt has to beat Florida. A 28-27 Gator team can’t be in the tournament. They may need to win twice.

Ole Miss may need to win tournament

So it's politics lol. Can't keep Cags out because of views and interest from the fans lol.

Don't want to ever hear Professional sports are rigged again because NCAA is just as bad.
NCAA is way more corrupt than professional sports. Any time you have a selection committee instead of a definitive selection process there will always be corruption. Why even have the RPI, NET, or whatever other system if you aren’t even going to use it properly? Just plug everything into a computer and whatever it spits out is what the seeding is. It takes the human bias out of the equation and people are less likely to be in an uproar over who gets in and who gets left out. There will always be someone upset no matter what but it lessens the outrage.
