Does Tennessee need a portal QB?

If we go into next season with a significantly better OL, particularly in pass pro, I'll worry alot less about the backup QB

    BTO’s NC State Postgame Report

DJ Burns looked like he's been spending some time at The Shoneys.. I didn't know they had them in NC.

    Favorite Recruit of this Cycle?

The TE transfer from Notre Dame. I'm reluctant to get too fired up about hs signee's anymore until they make it to year two without leaving. Sure is nice to have a 5 star WR committed though.

A early review of the Returnees

Nice post. I'll disagree on Bru also. I think his injury was the biggest loss to our team this season, and by far the biggest on offense. We lost our best (really only) deep threat Our best perimeter blocking WR Maybe the most competitive player on offense After losing him, it seems as if he...

    Is Huepel bad at recruiting?

The truth in what the OP is suggesting is we SHOULD be top 10 every year. One could argue top 6-7. The other truth is we are extremely close to that now. So, no. He's not "bad" at recruiting, but we need to get better.

Tyler Baron has entered the portal

Probably got a bad post season draft grade that all prospects can get from NFL scouting services. My guess he was projected to be a late rounder/possibly a FA. I'm sure he is after more money. He'll likely get more, but probably not substantially more.

Poll: Reasons for our offensive woes

Discussing this topic with another poster, I wanted to make sure I wasn't the one who has lost his mind. Setting aside the fact that we know playing bad defense can almost always be a reason for bad offense, I wanted to see which position groups on offense volnation was most/least satisfied...

    Team Issue…

And once again, I never said he was terrible. Only a significant (arguably the most) problem with the offense. And I've listed MANY reasons (some subjective, but I'm sure 70% of fans who watch the game would agree). You, on the other hand, have attempted to draw silly analogies to justify his...

    Team Issue…

I'm really trying here, but I don't understand the logic. Are you saying Wright, Sampson, and Small had a problem with stumbling and falling without being tackled when they had break away touchdowns? How does QB goal line sneaks/zone read keepers diminish how well our running backs played? In...

    Team Issue…

I'm convinced some posters do not watch the games, but instead cling to the box scores. Not real sure how anyone can watch the guy consistently overthrow sure TDs, hold on to the ball and take unnecessary sacks, be 240 lbs and cower before getting hit by DBs on draws, throw a ball 100 mph when...

    Team Issue…

Lol. I must be delusional because I'm pretty convinced we'll have a few high round draft picks that play the running back position and a QB that is scared to death to get hit. But keep tallying up those goal line zone read keepers (which I'm sure he isn't reading, but instead called by Hypuel)...

Any idea where we land Bowl wise

I'll be happy with a 1 point win over any team in a bowl game. However, I'll be elated if Mizz and Drinkpiss get clobbered in a NY6 Bowl.

    Team Issue…

I think your affirming what I said in my original post. Milton's obvious weaknesses wasn't the only team problem, but they were, in fact, a big problem. Of course the defense struggled, and the WRs took a talent hit from players leaving from last year as well as Bru going down. Throw in there...
