I stopped by for the Friday 4 inning scrimmage. We have lots of athletes that pass the eye test. Lots of newcomers that certainly look the part. i think it ended up tied 1-1. Ensley with an infield single for RBI and Villanueve (sp?) with a solo HR. Lots of active construction at LNS—can’t wait to see what it will look like to open 24 season.

I hope whatever Zane Denton is dealing with, it's nothing too serious.

Also, am I the only one who's never heard of a hamate bone? lol

I'm aware of it because I play lacrosse and tennis and it's an incredibly important bone when it comes to grip and overall grip strength; mostly because of how long and strong ring fingers are. Here are two picture to perhaps/hopefully add some clarity:

Scrimmage Friday & Sunday. The one today will start at 3:55ish. I won’t make either one of those.

They will scrimmage again on Monday and that is setting up to be an important one with guys throwing who have not thus far into fall. Drew Beam, AJ Russell, AJ Causey, Hunter Sloop, Matthew Dallas. Beam is also slated to throw some in the exhibition next Sunday in Greeneville.

Speaking of that exhibition against VT next Sunday (10/22) at Tusculum College (Pioneer Park), they will get started at 1:05 pm ET and the plan is to play 18 innings.

Tennessee will have one visitor this weekend and that’s 2025 RHP Tyler Baired. He is arguably the best righty in the class. The weekend of the Georgia game they will host tons of guys, including most (if not all) signees/commits.
