Just happened to look at Mike Hamilton's Wikipedia page today. Definitely feels like Hamilton or someone associated with him is editing his Wikipedia page.

Wikipedia: Mike Hamilton

Here is an excerpt:

During his tenure at the helm of the Volunteers athletic program, Mike Hamilton's visionary leadership has exemplified the “ideal of service” captured by the university's revered Torchbearer Statue.

Appointed to the position of director of athletics in 2003, Hamilton's stewardship of the Tennessee brand continues to ascend to unprecedented new heights. While Tennessee athletics continues to shine brightly as a national standard of intercollegiate achievement, Hamilton has assured that the athletic department's impact reaches far beyond the fields of competition.

In 2010-11, the benefits of Hamilton's fiscal oversight took the form of $10.3 million in direct cash support to the general UT Knoxville campus—the largest such contribution by athletics in university history. The UT athletics department remains one only a handful of nationwide that receives no funds from state subsidies or taxes.

Success on a national level has long been a staple of Tennessee athletics, and under Hamilton's watch, this trend has continued. The Vols have placed in the top 16 in the NACDA Director's Cup six times in the last seven years, including two top-10 finishes.

The men's basketball program has reached new heights in recent years and reached the NCAA Elite Eight in 2010—the program's most successful season in 101 years. The basketball program also won the 2008 SEC Championship and achieved the program's first-ever No. 1 national ranking that same year. Additionally, men's tennis played for the national championship and finished second in the nation in 2010. The leaders of those two programs, tennis coach Sam Winterbotham and basketball coach Bruce Pearl, were both hired by Hamilton and have each earned National Coach of the Year distinction at Tennessee.

Kinda missed the bits about running the football program into the ground and virtually bankrupting the athletic department.

I bet Schiano, Strauss and Sandusky would like to do the same!

That's all just copy/pasted from his old UT bio.

Talk about someone with and Identity Crisis! MH was constantly boasting about "Having A Couple Hundred Guests Over To The House This Evening." "Just got back from Africa with our 5th adopted child." WHAT MATTERS MOST IS WHAT YOU DO WHEN NOBODY'S LOOKING; Pipsqueak Hamilton.

Looking at the edits page, I’m pretty sure the incompetent little man’s Wikipedia handle is everdux. That guy must be on NoDoz to constantly edit the page to the fairy tale version.

You left out destroying the baseball, basketball, and track programs. He could not have done a better job at destroying the UT Athletics Dept if that had been his stated goal. Never in the history of SEC Athletics has anyone been so inept and failed so miserably. A loser who should be ashamed to even mention being AD at UT in his bio or resume.

He and Joe Alleva are the worst major school ADs of all-time, no doubt. When Alleva had to make an actual decision, it was almost inevitably the wrong one, both at Duke and LSU. All the good things his programs had going for them (basketball at Duke, football/baseball at LSU) were in place before he got there. He was incredibly lucky to have landed at LSU, a school whose athletic programs had been humming for years, after how he handled the Duke lacrosse case.

At least Alleva didn't destroy the programs that were doing well. UT Football, Baseball and Track had been top programs for many years before Hamilton got involved. He fell into a great basketball coach (thanks to Ernie Grunfeld) but destroyed that before he left. I'm not aware of any adult human being who was so clueless about the job he had. A complete moron when it came to running an Athletic Dept.

Hamilton was a complete and total loser as an Athletic Director!

I bet if Orgeron called Will Wade and told him he wanted him in his office right now, yaw yaw yaw, right now dammit Yaw yaw Red Bull vodka.

Wade would’ve responded with a gulp and a “Yes Sir, I’ll be right over.” Showed up and Mike the Tiger behind his desk with the Baton Rouge sheriff.
