It seems to me that having your head coach operating as DL coach would mean you don't have a head coach. And, I would guess the head coach needs to be free to monitor all phases of the game as they practice and learn. Did Pruitt fire the DL coordinator so he retreat to a more comfortable role? And, if you're not head coaching, how can you tell who is practicing good enough to play on game day? And how does a recruiting coach look to a recruit when he doesn't get on the field because the head coach is too busy with one part of the team to know his skills? I think Pruitt needs to decide if he is going to be DLC or HC.

No way for the staff to spin this one, a decomit two weeks before early signing day is a sign that the recruit has lost confidence in the program he had committed to, hope this doesn't become a trend in the run up to signing day, would hope the staff would not try and insult everyone's intelligence by coming up with unbelievable reasons why this decomit is a positive
