Looks like he can't win for losing....

Outgoing Louisville transfers

Wesley Walker, DB

Walker's time at Louisville lasted only three months, one of which included spring practices, after he transferred in from Tennessee in January. He entered the transfer portal April 23, as first reported by On3's Pete Nakos. As a Volunteer, he started 10 games at safety. The Cardinals were already shallow at safety and will need even more depth after losing Walker.

Is Baron able to transfer back to Ole Miss? A lot of their fans think he’s going back there.

I am curious how long before Supreme Court allows for in-season transfers .. it will be wild
LOL ... I thought the same thing. It will be like the pros when they lose one or two key players at a position they will simply work a deal with another team midseason to get a player they need. Think Josh Dobbs last year ... Cleveland, Arizona, Minnesota and now San Francisco. This is getting INSANE!

Not sure he lost anything. Maybe has a bigger pay upcoming.

The transfer portal is beyond ridiculous now.

Little need to follow it or recruiting anymore and simply support the team that comes out on the field on Saturdays.
Like I said.l, it's becoming minor league baseball. Itll become a constant rotating cast of characters who's names you'll forget.

Bet the wishy-washy behavior will provoke regulatory restricts that echoes NCAA-like controls again. These kids are screwing themselves and don't know it----yet.

This turnover just demonstrates the good job our coaching staff has done retaining our best players (as of now) and adding key players to fill needs from the portal.

Hope Walker and Baron make a lot of money in the portal going to a team we don’t play this year. Big loss for Louisville as these two were projected starters

At some point you'd think he'd run out of schools willing to offer him a scholarship. Or at least ones that aren't a step down.

We are headed to contracts. No other way for sport to survive.
Something has to give, how can a program plan or build anything for the future if they are scrambling twice a year to keep a roster together. I mean we are planning at 6 month increments now, as opposed to at least a couple years.

Should have entered the draft and trained his butt off…

Some of these boys are still thinking like boys. Trying to stay in college and get a little NIL money and live with no responsibilities…

Good luck Wesley

He maybe didn’t have the grades? Louisville is a private school, maybe higher requirements.

Seriously. What is a class worth in terms of its ranking anymore? A team can be last in their conference on high school recruits but clean up in the portal and have a better team than most of their conference

Players will unionize which is allowable since they are no longer amateurs. The final landing spot will probably be players on salary paid directly from the school with opportunity for extra income through endorsements, NIL type stuff

I thought Baron would enter the draft. Walker would be retiring from football if he did.
