I remember Dooley’s teams used to score a lot, too....
That's the elephant in the room. Based on his track record, CJH should make strides with the offense. He schemes to his players and actually develops them. Even with the transfers I think we'll at least see improvement on that side of the ball.

But, what is his defense going to look like and how well will he be able to recruit here?

Hey bud I get the enthusiasm.. the fact that Danny white led the presser with those comments about Ucf,bama, and Clemson is completely asinine.. dumbest thing I’ve heard in years

No turnovers and a great defense wins championships. Running up and down the field is for video games.

We won't score that much. The better defenses in the SEC will spend all off season unlocking Lane's tempo, which is the exact same thing JH uses. By the time JH has the personnel to actually implement his offense, everyone will know how to defend his offense. He probably will score more than we did in 2020 with Pruitt overriding most of what Chaney wanted to do.
