We live near Orlando (behind enemy lines) and we'll be going later this afternoon and evening to New Smyrna Beach (south of Daytona). I will be wearing some orange and white, just as I am right now. #GBO

I'm thinking about Aruba for my honeymoon, would you recommend that as a good spot for a honeymoon? I've heard nothing but good things about Aruba other than the obvious about that pos Dutch kid.

Went there on my honeymoon and loved it! As another poster mentioned outside the resorts, it's pretty barren. Still neat to see. We rented a jeep and drove all over the island - almost literally. The bocas on the side opposite the resorts are cool. We happen to be there when it wasn't crowded and went like two hours driving around that side of the island without seeing anyone. Make sure you do some snorkeling too!

Met 2 Vol families out on the beach here in St. Simons island GA. Any day I walk out to the beach here during the summer I swear I meet at least 1 or 2

I was in pcb this week and Cortez McDowell was staying at my hotel. No pics because I didn't want to bother him. He was on a trip with his girlfriend and her family. He was a super nice guy and ready for the season to kick off. He was glad to see Tennessee fans representing at the beach and said we will be sec champions this year. Go vols!!!

When I was stationed down there, I was a member of the Northwest Florida UT Alumni Association. Great group of people!

We used to get together at Angler's and watch games.

There are quite a few Vol fans down in Destin and FWB.

It's always nice to be around fellow Vols fans during football seaon.

The whole state of Florida is on constant lookout for the bandwagon.

Like I literally just picture robots that sit on their couch, turn on ESPN, ESPN tells them who is trending right now, they stand up off the couch, they head to the nearest sports store to purchase the jersey of said trending team.

During all this they never say a word to anyone. Just mindless bandwagon followers.

What!?!

I used to work with a lady who did cruises non stop. Had a "suga daddy" per say, despite her age. She told me if she could go to anywhere on her trips again, Bermuda is the location. Just a thought to look into.

On the Casino Boat out of Little River, SC yesterday and there was a Power T cap worn by a gentleman sitting in front of the one woman band on the top deck who just happened to sing Rocky Top. Gave me a chance to go a whoopin' and a hollerin' out on the Atlantic Ocean. Go Vols!

The answer is.... It depends! If you are looking for somewhere to go that has a familiar beach feel, speaks English and takes US dollars, then it's great. The people are very friendly.

The trade winds make it very arrid and not tropical so if you are looking for tropics like Hawaii, this place is not it. It's more of a desert feel. Lots of cactus and sand/dirt.

It's a great area to just hang out and grab sun and sea and relax

It's costly here as well. You can do a trip to Hawaii for the about the same price and the difference will be the flights.

My two cents...
