6 down, 2-3 to go.

Broncos have last 2 picks in draft, so they will take Croom and Vereen (Mr. Irrelevant).

Who knows, Wiesman might get a 7th round surprise too!

Is the signing bonus guaranteed? Is that all the guaranteed money?

I think the only thing the is guaranteed is the signing bonus. They have to take less money if injured and I believe it is a 4 year contract. I'm sure there is some clause for breaking the contract by either party. JMO

That's assuming they have a job available at that time. I'm not saying they won't, but it's awfully presumptuous to think they'll hold a job for 10 years for the guy.

Well, it is his life, so let him live it. As if your opinion is gonna change that anyway.

Why oh WHY did the Steeler's take TWO VOLS? I hate the Steelers and changing my colors will not be easy but, I hope Cam and Josh can help change my mind.

Thanks Row, great post. Puts it in perspective. With bonus and salary first year, Malone's making north of 1.2mm. That's a damn good start for a 20-21 year old.

IDC when or where they went. Just great to see vols being drafted again. And yes I'm proud and sad to see them go but sending players to the NFL through the draft like that is a big big big recruiting tool. What has it been? Two seasons back to back no players drafted?

Yeah, and they will all probably be way better players in the NFL, due to coaching.

I never said otherwise. Just pointing out that turning down a job, and then acting like you can come back 3-5 years later and automatically get said job is ridiculously presumptuous.

He would have to go get a job offer in order to turn it down. You have some inside information? I doubt he bothered looking for a position since he knew he would be trying to advance as a football player while he's still young enough to try.
