The world needs to seriously untwist its knickers, grow a thicker skin and realize that words are just groupings of letters and can only bother you when you let them.

I’ve never understood why so many people are so willing to give over to someone else their own personal power.🤦‍♀️

The real problem is these days people get off on having someone fired for something stupid they tweeted or said years ago, it’s straight Bs, we had a good guy at work get fired because of some new chick “heard” he said something to some other chick at work that was not true, the new chicks wasn’t even employed with us when the so called words were said, it was all a big lie because a few folks decided it wasn’t, we fought hard for the man but he turned his badge in and got another job somewhere.
The weaklings who have become adults the past few years have zero sand, never worked or earned anything, get off on instant gratification and are addicted to porn or substance abusers.

Why don't we hold accountable the people on FM radio, Apple Music, Hollywood, FB, YouTube, concerts, and street corners, who use the N word repeatedly and openly. We have a lot to deal with before we get to a teenager acting out 7 years ago!
But for some of reason it goes on unabated. 😏🤷

it really bothers some people that white people can’t say the word and black people can. Just let it go.

Yeah both words have drastically different histories. I would hope adults know not to play that game of saying it simply bc it’s repeated in a rap song. Gets too many folks in trouble.

I’d be interested to know whether she had a contract with VFL films. Most of the “talent” have contracts. I’d would venture to say there are morality clauses of some type in the contracts but to terminate someone for a tweet(s) that occurred almost a decade ago is potentially a basis for a wrongful termination claim. In addition, on a daily basis young adults have their criminal records expunged for various and sundry criminal convictions which took place when they were minors - many convictions for very detestable actions. All the while, there are certain individuals in the public eye in some of the highest positions in state government that remain in their positions despite wearing “black-face”. SMH.

This is interesting because the comment occurred outside the context and time frame of the employment from which she was terminated.

The other question is whether she wants to sue and be labeled as litigious, or just take her services elsewhere. She appears quite capable & confident. I hope she don’t let this BS 5-second tempest in a teacup define her.
