Georgia had 20+ enter the transfer portal and were missing Brock Bowers as well. Yet Georgia had a tougher time beating FCS opponents than this FSU team.

You can make the argument that FSU would have fared better without their star players opting out. But only 9 players declared for the draft. All the other opt outs are cancelled out by Georgia's opt outs too. Also you can say both teams are missing their top receiving target (Brock Bowers vs Keon Coleman)

Both teams face the same circumstances, but Georgia is steamrolling FSU right now. Kirby was able to convince his players to suit up. So I don't want to hear from FSU fans and defenders who say this gane doesn't matter. It mattered to UGA and their players. If it didn't matter they wouldn't respond anyways. But it does matter, its just FSU has been doing damage control the last few weeks.

So stating a difference. Last year Alabama gets left out of playoff and Bryce Young and Will Anderson had nothing to prove and only risk their draft stock. They play for Nick Saban. Florida State gets left out of playoff and 24 players say no thanks good luck coach to Mike Norvell. They knew they would get embarrassed so sat this out.

They might’ve been deserving, but that doesn’t mean they were a top 4 at the end of the season. Does anyone really think they are better than the 4 teams that are in the CFP ? Does anyone think they are better than anyone in the top 12?

The kids CHOSE to opt out. Maybe not have a loser mentality? This is the result of participation trophy's starting when these kids were born. Don't get your way? Just quit. Georgia is playing their 3rd string and still going up and down the field

FSU is horrible and doesn't play anybody. Getting destroyed on TV serves them right. 3rd string GA is all over it
