Jalen Hurd is looking smarter and smarter by the day.

The problem at Tennessee has always been Butch Jones. Josh Dobbs and Alvin Kamara were so great they masked his deficiencies. But now that they are gone we are seeing the real Butch Jones offense. Total ineptitude.

Hurd could be playing in the NFL this weekend. Instead he quit with 3 games left to go in the season. Dobbs stuck with the system and is playing for the Steelers.

Fans talked trash about your son because he acted like such an entitled little snot nosed punk. He nearly lost usbthe Georgia game by being an arrogant show off. Then basically quite.
It's also worth noting that everyone on planted earth recognized that kamara was better than your son yet sat there and watched him get 25+ touches or game. He averaged like 2 yards or carry. If anyone is supportive of butch it should be y'all based off all the opportunities he gave to your son who was probably the worst rb in the stable. Kelly never even got in the field last year because of all the wasted carries that went to Hurd. How's he doing at Baylor anyway? Kelly and kamara seem to be doing ok

Between Kelly, Chandler, and Aime, TN should have a powerful run game. But the scheme doesn't allow it. No push by the OL, no blocking TEs, and no lead blocking back. No short yardage run game. Allows defense to dictate our play call in short yardage down near the goal. That's why a fade pass was called inside the 1 on 1st and goal vs FL. Simply don't have a power run play for short yard situation.

Imo, this is the crux of the situation. You can only blow smoke for so long then you have to pay the piper.

Butch has been blowing it and now we pay for it.

Yeah.... high profile player quitting on his teammates in the middle of a game looks incredibly smart..... too it off with a transfer to Baylor to try and play TE/WR and he looks like a damn genius
