He could find another but the DEMs would be just as much against that pick as they are with Kavanaugh. No way should he nominate a moderate. Obama didn't and neither would Hillary if she had won. They need to get him confirmed before the election or their base will not be happy. You never risk any opportunity to get your pick on the Supreme Court. That is the single most important thing any President does.

The SC nomination is a party thing. He would just need to be a white man with Right ideologies. I'm sure the Senate has it in them to ram it through before the election. I'm also sure Trump has it in him to threaten them with that proposal.

When the stays quo has a rating lower than Saturday morning cartoon , you get Trump . He was voted in to shake up the establishment , that being said a disrupter will only be tolerated for so long before people want “ normal “ again . The problem the Dems have is , as long as you have leadership running down America , law enforcement , the military, the flag and openly pushing socialism ... you’ll get Trump . The closer both parties are to the center the less likely a person like Trump is to be in office . He is the Reset Guy .

I know it’s lowhanging fruit , kind of , but 5 years ago San Francisco wasn’t like it is today . I worked in the Bay , it had big city problems like any city does but you didn’t see people crapping on the streets and shooting up everywhere you went . That’s not a Trump thing that’s just bad ideology . No matter what party you associate with , that’s frickin unexceptable and 3rd world stuff right there . I can’t believe anybody on this board would think that’s exceptable . 5 years is how long it took . We can do better as a country .
