In other words... we'll get screwed because we play a front-loaded schedule. Nothing could be more UT. Oh, well... GO VOLS!!

This is why we are going to have to score a ridiculous amount points in our remaining three games. Style points are going to be a premium as we potentially compete with another one loss team, Oregon, for a spot in the CFP. Some video game stats may even help HH in the Heisman race if he gets some help from others with sub-par play. Full throttle from here on out.

for perspective. mind bottling we got bumped to 5

Basically a confirmation that Michigan has played a bunch of nobodies, as well as TCU.

TCU has some pitfalls ahead, as does Oregon.

Outside of an overrated Oregon, Georgia hasn't had to play anyone until they played us.

Bama and LSU need to win out (outside of SEC championship) to help keep our SOS higher.

I was just coming here to share same link. Those with a conference championship game get an extra big win possibility and definitely a boost in strength of schedule. With exception of big 10. The big 10 west that brings little to the table especially if Illinois stumbles to the finish.

TCU plays #18 Texas, Baylor, and Iowa State - how the hell is their remaining SOS ranked #1?

im not sure that bama and lsu *have* to win out so those wins look better because they were ranked at the time we played them (i believe).

just absolutely dismantling LSU at death valley is a good enough resume padder in that respect imo

Also with only 3 games left the remaining SOS won't have as big of an impact on the total SOS as some might think. That number 2 SOS is through 9 games. Much bigger sample size on the first number than the second.

We got bumped to 5 because TCU got screwed the first ranking and they made up for it knowing they were gonna get beat this weekend anyways

Oregon stood out to me as our competition on first glance at that list, too.
