A reporter asked one of the Q folks demonstrating outside the most recent President Trump speech if she had any evidence to support the theory that this Q stuff is real. She responded “no, but you don’t have any evidence that it’s not real.”

Works for Trump however I would take one step further and say that the truth is not in the horses but in the droops they leave on the way.

The social media outlets are between a rock and a hard place. If they give guys like Jones a megaphone to spew the irrational and the hate-filled then they are criticized for that. If they bar him, they are criticized for that.

I guess if you are going to choose a side, choosing to aggravate Jones' followers is going to cost the least.

My issue is, who is the arbiter of what is true? There are people who say 9/11 was an inside job. Do these companies take anyone who says 9/11off their platform? What about Birthers? Clinton Kill List? Chem Trails? JFK Conspiracies? UFOs? Bigfoot?

What is the line we feel people can't cross? Many people who lost family and friends are greatly offended 9/11 truthers. Officials named in 9/11 truth conspiracy theories have been threatened.

I'm not comfortable with being the arbiter of what should be allowed in the public square and what shouldn't. I also don't think removing from the platform changes anything but reinforces the narrative and strengths the divide. Especially when Louis Farrakhan and ANTIFA are still kicking it on those same platforms.

I don't know what the answer is. Smarter people than me need to figure it out. I'm not sure cherry picking what opinions are viable for the public square, even though you have the right to as a private company, actually helps the situation. In fact, I think it may make it worse.

They will make the decision primarily on how the bottom line is effected. Every time? No. But at the end of the day you answer to the share holders.
