Rankings

To be fair, Vandy changes their logos and traditions every 18 mos.

And think about this; Anchor Down! and Anchors Away! mean exactly the opposite meanings.
How can both be battle cries.

I still can’t let it go that they had a mound in their left outfield in the 90s.

Level your field.

Wake Forest has no business being in the top 10. They are the current 8 seed in the ACC and the team with the best record in their conference swept them, yet Wake is the team deserving of a top 10 spot. They’ve lost all credibility with this one 😂

Keep in mind, Baseball America is based in Durham, and they have traditionally been a strong ACC lien. This season they've been a little better early on- but they are listing back in that direction now.

I get that they have always been pro-ACC, but this is a case where it’s literally the best team in the ACC record-wise being ranked behind 5 other teams in their own conference. Add to the fact that UNC swept Wake and it makes even less sense. Bunch of idiots running that organization over there.

I hinted toward this in another post. But it remains here as well.

Out of 25 teams on this list; only two (EU and Oklahoma) went undefeated last week.

two teams that remain in the top-10 (#9 Ore State and #10 FSU) finished with a losing record this week. Those wo teams and Wake Forest stayed in the top -10 because the teams at 10-15 lost a ton of games themselves. Wake Forest went 2-2 on the week and moved up because they beat FSU 2-1.

Teams 10,11,14,15,16,18 had losing weeks. #19 (Coastal Carolina) moved up 6 spots to #13 but you could not move them ahead of Ore State or FASU

I just think it’s funny that we had the exact same conference record last season that Wake Forest currently has now (11-10) and yet they are deserving of a national seed according to at least 1 publication while we were ranked 18th. Yeah makes a lot of sense to me…
