How did the fur coat start?
The Daddy hat started in 2020, the fur coat in 2022. Both were the doings of Evan Russell.

“It’s just some fun stuff that the dugout likes to do," Tennessee outfielder Evan Russell explained. "With how the game’s going in today’s world, it’s like, just trying to make baseball as entertaining as you can. Having something to use as a celebration, it’s always cool."

The coat: “That is another Evan Russell creation," third baseman Trey Lipscomb explained. "He has the cheetah print pimp coat. We like it. Just put it on your shoulders or whatever.”

One of the coolest novelty traditions in sports.

Is Alabama government gonna pass an anti dei law that would make their schools no longer allowed to be part of the NCAA?

That’s the rumor

Idk if it’s true or false just posting for some speculation or answers

The two screen option lets Knecht decide which screen to take and therefore, which player to get swapped on him. He took Broome twice- once deep and another off the dribble. But, yes, Knecht is incredible because he doesn’t need much room to operate.
Ah gotcha makes sense. Thanks 👍🏻

Not sure why saying Tn right now is the best team in the country. We just beat Auburn at home and Alabama and SC on the road. That's huge. Of course, I haven't watched UCONN.
UConn looks really good. They are defending national champs. They are long, big, shoot it well from everywhere. They are the best team in the country. That was a bold claim about us.

That said, Dalton Knecht is better than Zach Edey. I fully believe this. Big men are supposed to shoot well from the field, especially when every shot you take is within 5 feet of the bucket. DK on the other hand is a complete player. He can score from anywhere on the court. Pro hops and pure stroke. He would have more assists and rebounds if they positioned him and utilized him that way, but they don’t need to. He can create scoring opportunities without having to have the ball in his hands. His skillset and work to improve it is what has made him great, not sheer 7’4” size. He demands double and triple teams from 5 feet to 40 feet from the basket, standing at 6’6”. He did even better in conference play. If he had been with the team last year and not have to transition into finding his role on a new team, and his team had to depend on him like purdue clearly does on Edey, his average scoring would easily be 25+ per game. DK is the best player in college basketball. He is the one reason we have legitimate final four EXPECTATIONS this year now.

Not sure if Alabama is contemplating the same thing as Florida, but DeSantis banned DEI program funding in public universities. All DEI employees were let go. Think it frees up something like 5 million at UF.

No effect on NCAA.

Ya, those were really bad examples. Especially the drive and dunk play. That was just a "clear out" play
A couple of the plays were on point. With random highlights added.

I remember Knecht saying after the game that he wanted clear outs on Broome because Broome was one the best players in the SEC and he wanted to try him.

Him being that slow highlights how brutally slow our LBs were that we were having to start.
4.46 isn’t slow for an RB his size. And honestly, I think he’s the right size for an NFL RB in today’s league. More and more 205lb or lighter guys these days. He can be productive with the right team.

He ran 4.61, which a RB can still be productive in the league with that speed (Emmitt Smith) but our LBs made him look like a 4.3 guy lol
