Why would an established HC at Oregon, Texas or another playoff contender want to coach at Bama? Tough schedule and following Saban and dealing with bammers, no thanks.

And Lanning’s won at that level day one. We appreciate the superior X’s and O’s candidate, but they’ve had the apex recruiter for almost two decades…Lanning’s more proven in that area and his teams have been still elite in both offense and defense. Bragging on him whilst fearing his effect less. Deboer would take what they already have and maximize it. But can he get more of the same 3-5 years down the road?

Dabo is the obvious assumption; but, I figure Lanning or Sarkisian will be their first calls...if it's not Dabo.
