What about all the other schools where this happens. Listen, happens everywhere. GA lost 10 from the 2013 class to the next year. I looked it up. It happens at all schools. You don't keep everybody.

Abnormally high attrition and the lack of quality OL recruiting will eventually become this staff's downfall.

But its a process. Butch needs at least 8 years of brick laying

Bright side: will help in recruiting Phillips, Walker, RB targets, we want players who want to be here, we will have more available spots (not for 2015), better now than transferring out after lackluster couple of years

Negative side: fans will question Butch and staff, hate it for the kids transferring, could be a deeper issue


Reality: this is going to start happening when you are consistently recruiting at an ELITE LEVEL. It sucks, but it is part of the business (see: Alabama). Players will leave, get recruited over, or just not fit in, and Butch will keep bringing in JUST AS if not more talented players. Don't worry.

I completely agree with you. No way to know how a frosh will end up. One cannot guarantee they will be great.

No. This isn't normal. It is a big problem. These aren't guys that are flunkies that we're just going to recruit over. Each one of these guys was considered a huge recruiting victory when we signed them. They all contributed in one way or another as freshmen. This needs to be fixed.

How many of those 10 played their Freshman year and were transfers?

Let me be honest. I don't care if he left and we can limit where they go. He can go there but he will have to pay his own way from what I understand.
