LSU fans don't hate him, but he certainly isn't beloved. Unlike the couple of ardent UT fans who effectively lead cheers to support the team, he is a solo artist who is mostly just noisy. I do think he genuinely loves softball, as he started coming to games when his niece played for LSU. The family was from Georgia, so not natural connection to LSU other than the niece.

Conference Tournaments are stupid anyway. A team grinds through the regular season and wins conference means a whole lot more than a four day tournament.

I know plenty around the LSU program who despise his antics. He makes the game about him over the girls. It wasn’t his niece it was Shemiah, his sister
