I didn’t see replay of where Catcher first touched the ball, but a portion of the batters box is actually in fair territory. Most is obviously in foul territory but the foul line extends to home plate (even into a portion of the batters box).

This is what GT students call girls because there are so few and referenced rarely that we can't spell girls any more.
GT pretty much should be an all boys/mens school plus androgynous girls or something.

Pretty sure the catcher fielded the ball in fair territory but it bounced in the batters box off of the bat.
