I actually really like his game. 6'4 WR who moves really well and is a good route runner. Going to finally have a decent QB at Ensworth this year too

Sure. But he's simply not as good as the top 7-8 WRs on our list.

Not sure we are pushing for that many WRs lol. He's better than Hyatt for sure and you would probably have to count him if you are going 7-8 deep

The receivers we have in this class are much better, and we will likely save a spot for an elite WR.

Nate Spillman isn't even the best WR on his high school team. Was excited about him because he seemed to be a nice deep threat.
I think we took his commitment to early.
Younger bro may be worth it if he's elite.

Our offense is WR friendly and perhaps Nate becomes a lot better.

They may just see something in him that they can develop and particularly fits UT's offense, but which isn't being utilized (or hasn't been developed) right now. I think Joey Kent had about 300 receiving yards his senior year in high school, but UT saw his upside and he became Tennessee's all-time leading receiver. Alabama and Auburn never offered him.
