Any team lining up with 4 DE's, average inexperienced 3rd string LB's, and DB's that can't turn their heads to look for the ball is in for a long long day every week.

I have never seen such a fundamental breakdown of the most basic thing a DB or corner should be doing, like looking for the ball on a pass. It stuck out like a sore thumb since the App. State game with me and I looked right at our coverage and watched the defender to see if he turned to the ball or not. There were a great many times they were too focused on the receiver and not the ball. When the ball is in the air, you play the ball. How hard can that be?

Our DBs have REFUSED to look back to the ball. They would rather just tackle the guy before the ball gets there or get burned deep. That is what our DBs are coached to do apparently.

Shoop is the best coach on our damn team! He will get this thing turned around, but it might be next fall before we see it
