did DeBord call that play to start 2nd OT when they had no answer for AK all game and why did our fourth-year senior quarterback throw that pass instead of just tucking it and running and living for another down? Damn't.

For exactly that reason. It was to be expected to do that. We went for a quick answer to their momentum. Dobbs was just too focused on his first read.

1) Because he thought it would work.

2) Because he was trying to make a play.

It was the same play that scored and sparked the comeback at Georgia. Safety was over the top, Dobb's shouldn't have thrown it. Kids fought their guts out, nothing to hang their heads over this night... BEAT BAMA!

Dobbs clearly misread the coverage. No way Debord wanted him to throw that pass there. Should've gone to his second read or something. Just a bad decision. Hard to be upset at either Dobbs or Debord today after 38 points and 700 yards of offense. Shoop and the defense however is a different story.

Because DeBord was aggressive.

You can't have it both ways guys. You can't ***** about how we are too conservative and then when we go aggressive ***** when it doesn't work. DeBord put the ball in Josh's hands. It backfired. It happens

I'm curious what Shoop could have done different with 6 TO's in regulation and half his starters out but please continue

DeVord called an amazing game. The only time you make that throw is on 4th down. It was first down for crying out loud

TAM needs to thanks Bob Stoops for a QB after Summlin ran all of his off

You mean the defense playing 4th team ILB because of injuries? 4 starters out and 3 more lost during the game. That defense? Give me a freaking break and think for one instead of hating

Again, AK was unstoppable, and that was an awful call on FIRST down

Can't put this on the D! Shoop's boys have done a great job all season, despite having to shred the depth chart. TAMU was handed 21 points.

On to Bama! GBO!

I understand your logic, but the defense didn't have 7 turnovers.

I don't have a problem with the call. They weren't stopping our throw game either. Dobbs just threw a terrible ball. I bet you anything it had been decided they would go for 2 if they scored. And dobbs just got ahead of himself.

If any of you taped the game, go back and check out how open the receiver in the flats was on the last play. He had an easy first and goal if we had went there with the ball. The play worked, we just threw it to the wrong receiver. It sucks that we lost, but the play call didn't cost us the game.
