With Saban gone Kirby now owns this conference

Until proven otherwise, you are probably right. He's 86-11 since 2017, 85-6 against anyone not coached by Saban. And he's younger than Saban was when he started at LSU. Though much uglier.
Fulmer was 94-20 through the 2001 season when Spurrier retired. Look what happened to him afterwards.

A lot will depend on the capability of coaches who enter the conference after Saban leaves, or just how good some of the recent coaching hires end up being. Phil looked primed to be in control of the SEC after Spurrier left, but Saban and Richt turned out to be great coaches, who entered the league the year before Spurrier left and the same year Spurrier left respectively. And of course the next coach that UF hired (Urban) ended up being a great coach.

The vacuum gets filled by somebody, but it isn't always who you might think.

He'll always be known as the loser, that'll be his legacy now 😁FB_IMG_1706731961700.jpg

Kirby will continue to dominate as long as he can avoid scandal. The discovery in the lawsuits are going to brutal for the program’s reputation, but it may not matter since it’s UGA.
