They don't really sign to those schools. They actually sign to their coaches who they know will give them opportunities to highlight their skills leading up to the draft. But if the NBA didn't agree not to sign these kids straight outta HS anymore, many would never play a single NCAA game.

Instead of moaning about those we don't get, try being thankful for those we do.

It wasn’t an AGREEMENT from the NBA. The one year requirement was their baby. They tired of drafting relatively unvetted athletic talents in the first round. The “one and done” doesn’t benefit the NCAA.

whats even better is when the schools with the developed 3-star recruits beats the loaded teams with one and done players because of inexperience. Kentucky is feeling this trend right now.

These top kids know they are one and done. So why not go to programs like Duke,UNC,Kentucky,Kansas, or Nova where you know you are playing for a top notch coach that can improve your skills for the NBA and if you have to play a year of college you might as well go to a school that has a chance to win the NC. Along with kids that have the same mind set as you.

In addition to playing at a Blueblood school you are going to get marketed. Your team will be playing primetime.
