ESPNU 150 cornerback Demetrius Wright shuffles up top group.
Four-star Demetrius Wright (Corona, Calif.) has had USC and Washington at the top of his list for some time. According to ESPN affiliate Web site WeAreSC.com, that has changed.
“Arizona came into the picture but USC has a slight lead,” said Wright. “I’m liking Arizona, Tennessee and USC right now, but Washington is still in there.”
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect is expected to make his final decision in January.
Corey Lemonier set for fourth official visit.
Under Armour All-American Corey Lemonier (Hialeah, Fla.) will make an official visit to Auburn to watch the annual Iron Bowl against Alabama, ESPN affiliate Web site AuburnUndercover.com reports.
“I think Corey may be taking his parents to Auburn as well,” Hialeah coach Mark Berman said. “Auburn will be his fourth official visit, and I think that will be the first time his parents have gone with him. I know he is excited to go watch that game.”
The four-star defensive end has also made official visits to Tennessee, Florida State and Illinois. He expects to make a fifth visit but isn’t sure of the destination at this time, according to Berman.
Other programs including Miami-FL, New Mexico, Florida and Alabama have also offered.
Three-star defensive lineman Max Beaulieu says yes to the Orange.
Max Beaulieu, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound defensive end from University School (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), has given a pledge to Syracuse.
The 17th commitment for the Orange, he was also offered by Arkansas, Nebraska, Purdue, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Wisconsin, Illinois, Tulane and Buffalo.
Beaulieu joins prep teammate athlete/linebacker Brice Hawkes as pledges for Syracuse.

Four-star wide receiver Kenny Shaw (Orlando, Fla./Dr. Phillips), long considered a Seminoles lean, revealed his final group to ESPN affiliate Web site NoleInsider.com.
“As of now, I am down to four schools,” He said. “My four schools are Michigan, Tennessee, Florida, and Florida State. You can also throw in Georgia. That is my five. I have lessened the list. All four of those schools are going pretty hard.”
“(The Seminoles) are still my top school,” added Shaw. “I think all the schools are starting to begin to equal out though. I will come up with my decision on signing day.”
Alabama becomes 17th offer for top junior QB Christian LeMay.
Class of 2011 ESPNU 150 Watch List quarterback Christian LeMay (Mint Hill, N.C./Butler) has been offered by Alabama, ESPN affiliate Web site CrimsonConfidential.com reports.
Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida State, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Mississippi State, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina State, Oregon and Miami-FL have also offered.
LeMay explained that he’s not afraid to wait his turn at the next level, “Playing time is not that big of a deal. When you have a couple of years before you’re in the fire you can help yourself by gaining experience, learning the offense, and just becoming a better player overall.”
The 6-foot-2, 187-pound talent completed 119 of 171 pass attempts (69.6-percent) for 2,210 yards and 32 touchdowns this fall. As a sophomore, he threw for 1,800 yards and 16 scores.
During various stops along the combine circuit prior to his junior season, LeMay posted a 4.64 40-yard dash, 4.41 20-yard shuttle, 7.5 three-cone drill, 31.6-inch vertical, 39-foot power throw and 8-foot-7 broad jump.
The highly-touted junior, who is interested in playing for a team with a pro-style offense, previously lived in Gainesville, Fla.
JUCO David Mahoney taking his visits.
Pierce College (Woodland Hills, Calif.) defensive tackle David Mahoney’s coach, Ephraim Martinez, spoke with ESPN affiliate Web site EerSports.com about his the recruitment of his prized defender.
“He’s probably going to take a while to commit, but he could just say I’m tired, I found the right place and I’m going to commit.”
Mahoney has already made an official visit to Tennessee and has two more planned for West Virginia (this weekend) and Texas Tech. Other programs including Arizona, Arizona State, Washington State and Florida International could also receive officials.
