For the 2011 class offensive lineman are going to be again a hot commodity for the Vols as they look to continue to bring in athletes along the offensive line and one of those players is Bobby Hart (Fort Lauderdale, FL/ St. Thomas Aquinas HS) the Vols are a familiar school already.

“I know the Vols signed our kicker last year in Michael Palardy and they also were a school another teammate Cody Riggs really thought hard about,” said Hart. “So I’ve talked to Riggs about his thoughts on Tennessee and he’s said good things about them. Said the Vols are good up and coming school that takes care of you and that he thought really long and hard about going there.”

Hart is a 6’4 283 pound offensive tackle with offers from Duke, Georgia, Florida State, Maryland, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest. With more and more schools talking to this massive tackle expect his offer list to grow more and more.

VolNation.com caught up with Hart to talk to him about his interest in the Vols and where he currently stands with Tennessee.

“Right now it is kinda hectic for me since I transferred schools and am now at STA,” explained Hart. I get info from my old high school coach and also here. I had an offer from the Vols before Kiffin left Tennessee and to my knowledge coach Dooley is still honoring it. “

Hart transferred from Cardinal Gibbons to St. Thomas Aquinas following his junior season and because of that he’s seeing information come into his hands delayed because of the move.

“Even though stuff goes to both my old school and now at STA I can tell you I would still consider myself very interested in the Tennessee program. I would say it is a seven or eight on a scale of 1-10 right now. I just need to talk to coach Dooley and the new staff in place to see where I stand.”

Plenty of schools will be coming for this talented player’s services after he had a very impressive performance at the US Army All-American Combine.

“I went down and did pretty well I think. I stood my ground and had a good performance. People said I was impressive. I am just hoping to turn it into more looks.”

Hart explained to VolNation.com that he plans to take things slow and that an early commitment isn’t’ out of the question but he doesn’t know if he will do that at this time.

give this young man a call coach dooley – he sounds interested for all the right reasons. let’s get him to knoxville for a visit so he can see the tennessee football experience in person.
