Tennessee’s Tobias Harris was named SEC Freshman of the Week after powering the Volunteers to a pair of home wins in the NIT Season Tip-Off South Regional. He led UT in scoring and rebounding with 16 points and seven rebounds in the first round contest against Belmont. Against Missouri State he led UT with 15 points to go with four rebounds, helping propel Tennessee into this week’s NIT Season Tip-Off semifinal round in his home state of New York. Harris is the Vols’ leading scorer this season (16.3 ppg) and also paces the team in minutes (27.3 mpg) while ranking second in rebounding (5.3 rpg).
