February 3rd, 2010 — National Signing Day. Today, high school athletes across the country will sign a letter of intent to the college of their choice and like the past six years, VolNation.com is the place to be.

Here is what you need to know:

Free Text Alerts through Twitter

1. If you plan to be away from your computer today be sure to sign up for VolNation text alerts. You must first sign up for a twitter account and then follow the instructions in this thread. 2. As we do every year, we have a thread in the Vols Recruiting Forum with live updates throughout the day. Be sure to check it often. We will update the first post with the latest updates so you don’t have to sort through all the posts in the thread looking for the latest — unless of course you want to (recommended).

3. Those of you who like the fast past action of signing day, head straight to the Vols Recruiting Forum. This is the place to be for all of the latest rumors and discussion throughout the day.

4. Hopefully your boss understands that in Tennessee signing day is (or should be) a state holiday.
