I actually started feeling sorry for Miclisse. He obviously has some integrity issues because of his "list" of colleges that were supposedly after him. I noticed that 247 has him rated as a 2* and I did believe that he might end up at a small college somewhere but there must be other issues keeping him out of any school. Hope he gets things straightened out with his life.

I got tickets for the first game so if Charter does not have it by then, I won't miss the game. However, if they don't have it at that point, it will be time for a change. Charter is so stupid so nothing will surprise me.

Yeah. That wasn't really a commentary on Miclisse himself, just on the amount of typically reputable posters talking about how bad we supposedly wanted him in the first 20-30 pages. It's nuts.

I can't see TG given the dirtiest programs in football are backing away because of NCAA.

I really hope Charter gets the SEC network.Does anyone know if it would be included in the basic package or could you just add this channel with your current tv package?

I think its very possible Gibson won't be apart of the class because of that. But it's still a long way until Feb things could change.

As of right now I don't see him being apart of this class.

Now if only TDS Telecom will pick up the SEC network. I love TDS service, but having an obscure cable provider can be a disadvantage sometimes. Only info I can find online is from the Vandy Scout site, believe it or not. Sounds positive, but nothing is confirmed yet.

Anyone else in the Mt. Juliet area have TDS?

South Georgia native here with TDS, no ESPN 3 sucks so much.

All of that was revealed to have come from one private board and Miami 'reporter' who basically had to take back what he said while saying 'he stood by it.' It was quite absurd and it was aimed squarely at smearing us - accusing of providing hookers and lobster and other junk. It was over the top crazy. Dude never thought it would get out but it did.

Cane posters at a sane board were mad as hell about it. They knew the person in question and said he was joke and owed TG and UT an apology. Some of them were concerned it would hurt their chances with TG.

I also talked to a few South Florida peeps and they told me stuff like this goes on all the time with SF recruits and they've learned to take the big talk (apparently people popping up claiming to be in the know and spreading rumors like this is common) with a grain of salt.

A recruit like TG isn't being backed away from by any of these programs. They just know we lead right now. But they'll continue to recruit him just like we will. I think Urbz just knows he's out but Miami wants him bad and Auburn would love to have him but he's a bonus for them rather than a top priority.

Basic for everyone. That's why directv hasn't picked it up yet. They're trying to market the SEC network.

I don't think that's hold up. The hold up is that its part if a bigger negotiation on the entire ESPN package since their deal is coming up soon anyway. Direct is prob working out all the details and trying to get watchespn etc. as they currently don't have this.

I would be happy with that, as I have all the capabilities to get watchespn, except I don't have a provider for it.

I recently just got direct tv since I moved to a where there isn't a big cable provider due to local politics. I was shocked they didn't have watch ESPN and alot of the Internet stuff I liked having with Comcast for my Apple TV. Luckily I have friends with Comcast so if it gets crunch time I can use their code to watch ESPN app for Utah ST game

Ok I was hoping that was the case . Because I thought for sure I would also have to buy the sports package on top of my existing since I don't get the Big Ten Network (not that I would want it ) with a comparable package.
