So you want to replace the DC? The coordinator of the part of the team that is keeping us in ballgames?

Good call...

that dude is one face strain away from a heart attack, no thank you.... having some grit is one thing, but you can't tell me his team likes his psychotic behavior!?

Agree, but i think this year his lack of coaching skills are starting to show over the automatic talent they always get to take the field.... exposure will make anyone run. I can promise you that if he ever went to Mich, he would not have the success he has had here, especially if he didn't bring Chief with him...

I once read a book called "Games People Play", and my favorite chapter in that book was "Lets You and Him Fight".

The premise is that there are people in this world who love nothing more than to walk in a room, drop a figurative bomb and stand nearby to observe the aftermath. They do this for entertainment purposes only, as evidenced by their conspicuous absence from the "scene" afterwards. Kind of pathetic, really. Most of the time, the "bomb" is a lie, or just a creatively-worded distortion of the premise being set forth.

All of that to say, this fits the OP to a T. You've been trolled, gang.

Because LSU isn't very good anymore, and as long as S aban is at Bama, its going to be really hard to win a NC.

LSU isn't as good this year because no team has lost as much talent early to the NFL as LSU has the last 3 years. Its staggering, they had how many drafted last year ? wasn't it 15 or 17 or something crazy like that ? No team could continue to reload every year under that much attrition.

Based on what? Muschamp is supposed to be a great defensive coach, especially DB coaching. Florida's defense is one of the worst in the country and they've given up over 800 yards passing in the last 2 games including long TD passes where the receiver wasn't even covered. He's overrated as a defensive coach.

I don't see anyone on UT's staff right now that I would trade for Muschamp... Seriously. I don't. I don't like him and MOST guys who "succeed" under Saban end up being overrated. Saban's success, like him or hate him, is ALL about Saban.

I know this is heresy around here but I don't want Chavis back either. I understand the emotional attraction to him but he was a lazy recruiter and was very frequently outclassed in playcalling by the top tier teams.

I've had serious doubts about Jancek but he's done more than enough for me to want to see where it goes with him before coming close to wanting to see Chavis recycled.

Which points to one of the key reasons I do not want Chavis back. He is a recruiting liability and reportedly was while at UT too.

You say what you say.... but LSU HAS previously just reloaded going all the way back to Saban. Even with some bad DC's.... they've had talent. And LSU has a MUCH easier task in recruiting than UT. La and all of talent rich east Texas are "home turf" for them.

Almost 10 years later and Chavis still can't figure out a spread option offense.

Why anyone would advocate him coming back is beyond me.

when they buy out muschamp's contract, he'll have millions banked---he'll take a year off and take D coordinator job in the nfl or a big time program
