I think the shock is that it's on standard cable. HBO is a different animal.

Also, I don't think it was just the hit and the slit but the image of humans being being lined up as cattle by other humans.

At a slaughter house, they hang the animals by their back legs so that gravity helps with the exsanguination. Gets more blood out of the meat that way. Was surprized that they did not do it the same way. Not real butchers imo :)
Otherwise, very cool episode. I am definitely hooked on this show...

Alexandra Breckenridge (American Horror Story) has landed a recurring role on Season 5 of AMC’s The Walking Dead. She has an option to become a regular on the zombie drama, which shattered another ratings record with its fifth-season premiere Sunday.

As usual, details about the character are being kept under wraps. On the breakdown, her character is listed as Samantha, an attractive, strong, smart, charming and articulate woman who also has a vulnerable side. She’s a mother with a bohemian spirit, and a talented artist. The Walking Dead producers sometimes use fake characters names to disguise the real identity of characters from the graphic novel that are joining the series, so it is unclear whether Breckenridge’s heroine will still be named Samantha when she makes her debut on the show later this season. The Walking Dead already has been renewed for Season 6.

Who, in their right mind, would not jump onto this show and last as long as you can? I can't imagine what they get paid for this, and to be able to show your friends or family someday that you were on one of the most popular shows ever.

I'm sure the term "optional" is used lightly in this instance. It's probably code for if you work out on the show and the fans like you then we might give you the option to stay otherwise we Andrea your ass.

So, what role will Morgan play this season?

When does Beth's story line recur?
Will she escape? Proving that her character is becoming stronger. Or will Daryl and Company end up saving her?

Are they setting Bob up with a bigger role to kill him off? I hope not, I like his character. Of course that most likely means a death sentence for his character as they have killed off two of my favorites. (Herschel and Dale) any character that seems to be a moral compass is not going to make it.

I hope that they show Tyrese destroying the walkers barehanded as a flashback. I would really like to see the big guy thrashing the walkers with no weapons. They need to show his and his sister's back stories.

They need to do more webisodes. Even better if they used them to show back stories of the current or even past characters.

My guess is this week is all about Beth. That seems to be the formula when the cast is split up.

Let's hope it's more Lori than Andrea, Andreas death was the most painfully drawn-out scene of the show.

Milton, "hurry I'm turning"

Andrea starts trying to get screwdriver. Milton pauses, she stops and talks.

Milton, "seriously hurry up"

Andrea...again stops to talk

Milton, "Andrea listen, I'm going to eat your face hurry"

Andrea...stops for story time again.

Milton, "Jesus woman can't you ****ing multi-task?"

I figured he might've when he went under the water. Or scratched? When he asked for one more kiss then I knew. When he walke outside it pretty much sealed it for me. I'm pretty sure.

And lol.. Can't have too many colored people on the show. About to reintroduce Morgan so bob had to go. It's been that way since the beginning.

So true. When Rick was off with Sasha, Bob and Michonne I thought, "well this is the safest group Rick could possibly be with."
