The Walking Dead

Bob is doing the Dale from the comics.

I have not read the comic series. I think I may have to now. Did Dale get eaten completely by the terminus ghouls or just his leg like Bob has so far?

The guy that Tyrese beat to death actually didn't die. He is in that final scene with them.
Really want Tyrese to man up and be the one that actually kills that guy.something like tossing him into a bunch of zombies or impaling him like that one zombie outside the shack.

I thought so too, but don't people turn in 10 seconds?

Episode was pretty boring, if you ask me. They can't all be like the premier.

I can't remember the last one to turn. Well, a cast memeber that followed the turn anyway. I guess Andrea and the guy at Woodbury? How long did he take

Turning in just a few seconds is very 28 days laterish. However, we've seen on the show it can take minutes or hours to turn if you're still alive, see the Herschel leg amputation.

Season 1...I forgot the character's name...got bit in the attack that killed Carol's husband...he got them to leave him at a tree with a gun...they never show how long it took for him to turn. Have they ever shown that on the show...I think that the virus kills you...then you turn.

The "it's not personal" crap makes me want their death to be REAL PERSONAL.

String 'em up so the Walkers can eat their legs...let them enjoy a little payback. Raise them up cauterize the wounds then lower them for another round...raise/cauterize/repeat. :)

Would explain why he went to the woods to cry...wonder what eating almost turned flesh does to a cannibal?

I suspected Bob got bit or scratched as well but it remains to be seen. I too wonder what eating turning flesh does to them.

I think the Herschel amputation wasn't to keep him from turning as much as it was to keep the bite/virus from spreading. Much like cutting off a limb after a poisonous bite.

There was a guy in the first or csecond season when they were either traveling to or from the CDC that got bit and he was in Dale's RV getting sicker and sicker. I think this took anywhere from several hours to possibly two days. It's by no means instant.

I'm still trying to figure out why if they all have the virus why does a bite kill you anyway? Maybe it activates it or the bacteria from the wound kills you?

I think the wound gets infected...then sepsis and death then turn. Antibiotics should handle it...most wounds were poorly handled due to conditions. Just my expert medical and zombie guru opinion :)

His name was Jim (I only know this because I looked it up) and though I obviously don't have an exact timeline I would guess he lived at least 36 to 48 hours after being bit. I remember them taking care of him in Dale's camper before they left him sitting by the tree.

Docs do not do well in The Walking Dead, maybe pretend to be a salesman and heal 'em when nobody is looking:)

If there are Dead in Little Elm, lemme know, I'll come help ya spike them :salute:

To those saying there is a shortage of black people on the show you couldn't be more wrong.

In Rick's group currently you have 5 black people(if you count Gabriel), 1 asian guy, and 8 white people.

Someone asked what Morgan's role will be this season, that also remains to be seen. So far he's that guy we only see at the beginning and then at the end of a season. He's like the tease and then we are all like "OMG Morgan!" They're like trolling us with Morgan's character.

The marks on the trees now makes sense. It is not Rick's group that was leaving the marks. It was the terminus people. The good news is that Morgan is following those marks. Hopefully he will arrive quickly enough to help.

I hope that the terminus people storyline does not drag it out too far. I want them to die soon, and very very painfully and just as gruesome as they can come up with.

I read that the scene with Morgan from last week, took place days or even weeks after Rick and the crew left Terminus.

Did you see the carved symbol on the tree last night? The carvings in the trees were carved by the Termites.

Gareth said that he ands his crew were hunters last night. I take it that they are now "The Hunters" from the comic book?

Lighten up Francis, the guy was joking.

I kind of assumed Bob got bit or scratched too. There was quite a bit of post shadowing. Makes you wonder if the Hunters actually saved him. At least for now.

So what's up with Gabriel? What do you think his connection to the walker in the food bank was? No spoilers for those who have read that far in the comics.

From the picture he was looking at, I'm guessing wife.
