Some posters are smart enough to know you don't take 7-8 scholarship running backs. He was recruited as a RB but as soon as he realizes he is behind 7 guys or more and even some of the walk-ons, he will ask to move to ILB. That is how you recruit. He gets a fair shot but anyone with eyes and knowledge of the game can see he is not a running back.

I only remember him being at Kiffin's camp because there were a couple articles about the Honey Badger being pretty dominant at the camp even though he was very small. Kiffin decided not to offer him and then LSU gave him a very late offer .. and the rest is history.

So Kiffin ran off 2 Heisman candidate QBs and passed on the Honey Badger in his one year at UT.

I thought it was said that Blackburn would never get the chance to be the AD at Tennessee because he has some serious baggage that is following him around. I think he would make a great AD for UT. When it gets political, it gets stupid.

Whitehead is the best running back prospect UT signed in this class. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Whitehead’s tape at RB > Whitehead’s tape at LB.

This is being set up for failure and he will be the scapegoat even though he is doing it their way.
