When we played Bama last year and Mac Jones came in for an injured Tua, did anyone have any inkling he’d be this good? That night he looked like a Greg McElroy game manager at best. I know he’s got a lot of help around him, but he is dealing tonight.

Make no mistake they’ve mastered how to build offenses that help the QB succeed. They’re system guys with an Arsenal to play with.

It’s crazy to think:

Bama - not good. Hired Shula and lucks into Saban who turns the program around and into the best of all time.

Clemson - not very good. Hires Dabo and people don’t like the hire at first. Completely turns the program around.

Florida - hires urban and wins two nattys right away.

OSU - the vest gets into trouble. Hires urban. Starts winning again. Retired. Promotes Day and continues wining.

Coach means more in football than every other sport. Hopefully we land on a good one, eventually.

It needs to be over soon. One way or another, they need a fire JP or let him start hiring assistant coaches. It's not fair to the players, the remaining coaches/their families, the recruits, or the fans to keep this going like this.

So how does CFB fix this? The supposed top 4 teams I think just got proven that they are nowhere close. Does expansion really help? The natty shouldn't be this wide of a gap.
