Better bring the A game tonight absolutely a game we cannot afford to lose unless were planning on beating SC and or LSU. Getting to the place where you win or go home especially when your playing a team rated 94 in the net.

I don’t think UGA will score above 60 tbh,

LV 79 UGA 59

Second teamers should get plenty of playing/developmental time. I’m sure this game has meaning for Jill, hope she has a great game. Would also like to see Avery get some extended minutes just to see how she does, she might be able to fill a valuable role before the season is over.

She may not want to stay just being prefered walk on
With Tess talking her COVID-19 year.next year.

Georgia 63
Once the season reaches the conference schedule, the time to red-shirt has passed.

I would guess that Edie know what she signed up for.

Might piss off the football people but here it goes.
It bunch bull that football players can play in any 1/3 of games
Of the season and Redshirt and bowls games doesn't count.
It should be same for basketball.
Maybe one NCAA tournament game doesn't count.
If a team EE round to final four get two NCAA tournament game doesn't count.

Anyway if 1/3 of the season games no matter when is good for football Should apply to all sports or none at all.

That is not the rule for WBB, look it up, you seem capable of interacting on and using the internet in spite of your schtick. Sorry LV fans, I can’t play with this game he /she is playing.

No it’s games entered. You get like 9. So.
Okay, I just double checked. D1 Redshirt rules, for every sport except football, are quite restrictive.

In every other sport, participation during any portion of a game, meet, or match during the regular season will trigger the use of one of an athlete’s four seasons of competition.

So, Edie falls under this so-called "one-in-four" rule and would have to file for some kind of hardship exception.

Of course this discussion is 100% hypothetical.

I’m lost. Is Edie injured? Why would she need a redshirt?

I don't think the staff would be offering her a redshirt even if she were eligible. I figured out this year that she is not going to be a scholarship player. She will be a walk on her entire time here. If Kellie is not back next year I can see her and Tess and a few others not even being here. If Coach Kellie is back she is going to need every available scholarship she can get to work the portal. Only three returnees in 2025 and one recruit she is going to need at least nine players and right now she has one 2025 recruit.

Yeah I understood Edie was on a full ride academic scholarship and a walk-on for the basketball team.
