I was a senior in HS when Big Eds opened in 1970. I also worked at nearby Jackson Square Pharmacy. Ed brought down pizza for us on the first or 2nd night. He would occasionally do that.
The McMahons were wonderful people to work for.

Maryville moved closer to repeating as region champion with a 60-30 victory over Farragut in Tuesday's first region semifinal. In the second game, Oak Ridge avenged last year's loss to Bearden in the region semifinals by beating the Bulldogs 56-51.

Maryville will meet Oak Ridge tonight for the Regional Championship.
