If they had a benchrider award she would get it this season. Ralph learned quickly you can't play her much she is a one trick player. Stand on the perimeter and shoot threes. She can't guard or rebound. What become quickly obvious when she made the big league that she was dominating against 5'4" Catholic girls.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the system. You don’t make shots, you won’t win. Pretty simple. Put the ball in the bucket. We haven’t been able to do that in the last three losses. The system created the look, but we just didn’t make the shots necessary to win.

And I kinda hate this for coach kim she doesn’t understand how tricky it is being the coach of the lady vols already seeing folks turning on her…don’t mind the subbing for fresh legs but she’s going to have to adjust the sec isn’t the sunbelt conference

Just like people are who they tell you they are, believe them, a team is who they tell us they are, believe them. This team was the 9th place finisher in the league this year. They got knocked out of the tournament by a team ranked just above them, that fared just better than them in the SEC season, and beat them head to head in the regular season. It is plain and simple where they are at in SEC land this year. Sigh.

Best Fan base in America but also the Worst because of turning on Coaches at the flip of a switch.

Blaming the refs is one of my pet peeves. It's just so weak.

Vandy came out and took it to us halfway through the second quarter and we didn't respond. Unfortunately, a bit reminiscent of the last 2 regular season games.

Certainly fans get a little hostile with some of the recent losses. We have to give her time to recruit her team. She recruited some of these players not all. Put together a team as best she and the Assistants could. Has to be a honeymoon season we have to give her some slack. Next season the grading gets tougher all indications is that the team will be a lot more talented.

We need to get out of this full court man press. Need to run 1-2-1-1. Force ball to sidelines which is your extra defender, do not let the ball into the middle. Press is to speed up other teams and create bad passes. If you foul or let the ball get in the middle of the floor your press has failed, hustle back and set up half court defense. Traps have to be jumped into at lightning speed. Right now we are way to slow in the trap. Ok, rant over! GBO

If this game, the UGA game and games lost against the top tier in our league proved one thing to me, it's that, even under Caldwell's exciting system, in the SEC, she needs a big that gives some better inside presence for rebounding, scoring at the rim and taking some pressure off the guards.
6'2" bigs might have worked in her previous level, but not the SEC. Hopefuly, she'll find that transfer and be able to integrate that big into her system.

Shea just said the same thing Kenny B did. Prepped like hell the first game, didn’t have to near as much the second time. Said she knew everything we would do. Familiarity is not our friend.

We got outrebounded 42-34 and only had one more fg attempt than they did. Actually shot 47% but so did they. We were only 9-29 fm 3 to their 6-16. Our season will eventually end for want of a consistent 3 pt shooter.

LOL I’d hate to have to question Kim at the presser today! Talk about curt. I hope she just declines to answer rather than give the ultra tired effort speech again.

And y’all do whatever gets you through but this was not on the refs. Vandy was a better team w a better coach today

It's not really a press....It's a full court trying to catch up to the ball handler man to man. And not even a decent one.

Even though I did not get to watch the game.I dont understand why Kim keeps pressing when teams are getting layups after layups off of it. Sometimes you have to stop pressing especially when its not working. You are giving up free points. This team does foul a lot. Turnovers have been a problem all year. I see no accountability with players, Cooper in my opinion is a ball hog, I would average 16 a game if I shot 30 times a game, not saying she shoots that much but it seems like she does. I think there is some problems between players and I think Cooper is one of them. I might be wrong. Team looks tired, not sure if they looked tired today or not. This team is fun to watch but it has a lot of work to do and most of it is on defense. I think they make a decent run in the tournament.
