2025 SEC Tournament

They've run long all season but today was even worse
Not that I'm looking to defend the system that often drags these games out, but of the 4 games, one went to double OT, and two of the three others were 1-possession games that ended on buzzer-beaters. Even the Mizzou-MSU game was tight until the final minute. Point being, all the games were closely contested and those games take longer to play, unfortunately. And then you stack four of them on top of each other, and play the games an hour behind in CST, it can add up. This wouldn't be so much an issue if they were played in Atlanta and started at noon EST. With the westward expansion into Texas and Missouri, league belief is likely that Nashville is more centrally located, so I understand the move, but it does create a headache for teams in the eastern time zone.

Looks like Steven Pearl's name was mentioned for Murray State head coaching job.

Ryan Miller has since taken the job, but wonder if Pearl is on the move if another smaller school comes calling.

I'll apologize in advance since it's not in our best interest for the big picture tonight. As much as I've tried to make it happen from within, I can't root for Kentucky tonight, or ever, for that matter. Here's hoping Missouri can advance to the championship game on Sunday opposite the Vols.

No need to apologize. KY is never going to beat Alabama, so might as well enjoy them getting their teeth kicked in.

BTW, I'm rooting for Auburn to beat Ole Miss.
In no way do I want to play Ole Miss again after that first game. Not because I don't think we can beat them, but because I don't want any of our guys to get hurt before the NCAAT.
The were pushing our players in the back and fouling/playing with reckless abandon.
The refs did nothing to rein it in, either.
I doubt the crews we've had thus far in this tournament would be any different.

Problem is CBM is also a menace that could hurt someone pretty bad 😅

lol on that last foul call. Auburn guy almost shoved the Ole Miss player to the ground, and they call a foul on Ole Miss.

Maybe it's just me paying attention more but it seems like the last 2-3 week especially I've seen more fouls called on the person that on replay clearly looked like was the victim. It's happened to us in several games but I've seen in it many games. Like obvious ones too, a guy gets thrown the floor and they whistle the guy who got thrown.

Amazing, I actually agree with Bilas for once… That was not a continuation. Furthermore, it looked like the defender hit the ball before it hit the glass, so no goaltend.

If Ole Miss wasn't playing so much one on one they might have been able to get a lead in this one.

It's not just you. There's been a lot of phantom calls and frankly bad calls this tournament. In all games.
Something funny is regards is Kentucky fans are absolutely convinced there is a conspiracy by the refs to screw them. It's hilarious.
