They'd tie up a suspected witch with and throw them in a body of water and if they sank, it was a sign that they were not a witch.

Not sure what Oats did beside speak like a dumbass to the press about the Miller situation. The police didn’t even charge Brandon Miller with anything. So not sure what exactly Oats should have done there besides not saying dumb things. Oats ain’t kicking off or suspending a player involved in something when the justice system itself didn’t punish or charge that person in the same event/circumstances. No coach would.

Sure but it does mean the whole ordeal is no longer relevant or an issue because the alleged victims decided a dollar amount was worth being silent and moving on. Once you do that, it’s null and void.

And if you do want to break silence after agreeing to do so, you should return every dollar and cent.

The behavior bothers me as it hits home when a loved one has been a victim in the past. I’ve seen how authorities turn the other way while women are convinced to Stop pursuing legal action.

I will leave it at that.

Well you have no relevancy in the ordeal. That’s the other thing, people who aren’t involved directly are usually the loudest ones. That’s half the problem there.

I’m beginning to suspect that you’ve sent some unsolicited pictures and this whole thing is hitting too close to home for you…

This whole conversation wouldn’t have even happened if you hadn’t rushed in to white knight for the accused sex offender. If a public figure is accused of something like this and is “cleared” with as many caveats as they used for Golden, you’re just going to have to sit through opposing fans occasionally calling him names. If you want it to stop, making a big deal about it is the opposite of effective.

Not only no proof, the case is far from over on Golden’s side from a defamation standpoint. More to come there.

But the oddest thing coming from rival fans is the pedophile stuff. Nothing about the unfounded allegations had anything to do with minors.
