Yeah, I know. My 24,000 hours of experience is easily replaced. The age that we get your old ass out of the cockpit, ha ha....
When my older sister got chicken pox, my mom and aunts brought me and my cousins all together at my grandparents so that we would all get it at the same time. (I was 4yo IIRC)Had a chicken pox weekend in Seymour TN. My mom actually had shingles a few years ago in her 60s. Not sure how that works but I dont want them if possible to avoid them. Also mumps. I am 59. when I came through you were supposed to try to get mumps. I never had measles though. Was definitely vaccinated for it, but I might have been 6 years old at that point.
Measles actually has a relatively high complication rate. Pneumonia, encephalitis, and immune suppression are the most dangerous sequelae. The case fatality rate is obviously highest in resource-limited populations, but still high enough to be a concern in developed countries (1 to 3 per thousand). It is more dangerous in young children, without doubt.Measles and chicken pox were just irritating childhood ailments. It was never a big deal. It just didn't scare anybody. People were way more concerned with TB, Polio, diphtheria, scarlet fever, etc. Those were the real concerns because they are REALLY bad. The basic line of treatment for measles was 2 or 3 days rest then, back to school.
Cells have to be used to propagate viruses. There is no "human DNA" contained in the actual vaccines themselves. I'm happy to explain further if needed.Fetal cells. Itās true
I think m going to break down and get the shingles vaccine. Iāve seen too many people suffer through an outbreak. It looks miserableMeasles actually has a relatively high complication rate. She sounds awesome. Like @kiddiedoc she is someone I would love to have treat my kids/family.
My original post was a joke. Or at least made in a joking manner.Cells have to be used to propagate viruses. There is no "human DNA" contained in the actual vaccines themselves. I'm happy to explain further if needed.
There are a few main cell lines that have been used for decades and are replicated for that purpose. Fetal cells are no longer harvested for that purpose.
Sorry. I was trying to respond honestly. Didn't realize "your wheelhouse" was straight d*** mode.My original post was a joke. Or at least made in a joking manner.
Maybe since this is in āyour wheelhouseā you didnāt realize I was joking and you went straight into education mode.
Wow. Ok.Sorry. I was trying to respond honestly. Didn't realize "your wheelhouse" was straight d*** mode.
Seems like a pretty chill discussion until your post.
True true. Maybe I misunderstood your take.Wow. Ok.
The printed word is often misunderstood. Obviously that has occurred. I like chill. I prefer chill. My original post was a joke that got misunderstood. Sorry if I offended you in anyway.
