This kid looks like he's head to foot with potential, but real talk, unless he's a generational talent who adjusts very quickly to the college game - pretty uncommon among bigs - he's not likely to be a huge piece of the puzzle in year 1. We can always hope, however he'd likely be a great get but mostly a developmental piece in the beginning.

I said this in another thread and the usual suspects acted like Jim Jones had slid them a cup of kool-aid.

I figure he would get lost on the court and not know where he should be in switch offs, etc. Now if he just develops into an intimidator in the middle as a freshman, then that's a piece we need----if we can land him. This would solidify our size. I heard Sean Miller talking about this very thing - the rotation flexibility size offers you.

He will look like a great prospect sitting at the end of the bench.

The staff is thinking, they can have him productive by March. Slowly work him in. They’re looking for a 8-12 minute piece at this point, not a starter.
