Exactly...seeing how they've managed with Milton, Nico and Joey in dire situations I am more than comfortable with rolling out Faizon who should be the best QB on the roster and letting him figure it out on the job.

I can see G-Mac to start the season because of the year of experience in the system. But I would be ready to make the change quickly if it was not working well. Minus the injury, the Hooker replacement of Milton should be the barometer.

I get that logic, but it's also easier to roll out a first time starter against Furman, GA Tech, and Kennesaw State than waiting later in the year when we're in SEC play.

First game reps are extremely important this year. GT isnt a pushover. We should learn a good bit about our defense in that game.

Yeah, Brando has a lot of animosity towards the SEC. I’m sure he feels scorned by ESPN and the SEC. His Friday night games are getting better, but no one wants to be in the Little Apple watching K State and Houston play on a Friday night. And Fox has stuck him with their new guys.

He does have allegiance to LSU being a Louisianan, and at least one daughter went to Ole Miss hence the support there. He supported the LSU search until Kif made a circus of it

Just watched his highlights last night. Looks like he does a pretty good job getting to the second level, and with his size, he could be a fun right tackle in a zone scheme or that pulls a lot. Definitely a new name on my radar
