The Official Tennessee @ Oklahoma Series Thread (Thurs. 5/14 7:30PM ET SECN+) (Sat. 5/16 2PM ET SECN+) (Sat. 5/16 45 mins after game 2 SECN+)

This pitching staff is so bad. Terrible bullpen, and an inconsistent rotation. May be the worst since Tony’s first year.
Tony’s first team had Garrett Crochet, Garrett Stallings, and Andrew Schultz. Nobody on this staff holds a candle to those guys.

For all the great things Tony did here, he left our pitching worse than he found it.

This is why I don’t think E will make a change at pitching coach , it’s Reynolds first year at the SEC level and he’s made some mistakes for sure but I think a better bullpen could have helped him and the whole team , I don’t remember Tony running anybody off staff wise in his time here and always spoke of loyalty and family among staff , I could be wrong but I just don’t see it .

You might be right, but I have to wonder how this staff would look under Anderson's tutelage? No offense to the current pitching coach of course.

I don’t think Mack was ever going to start this weekend regardless of recovery. Not sure this means anything about the rest of the season (unless you have some insider info).

No inside info. Just that this staff has shown they will be the most careful with arms ( and I don’t disagree with the stance) to protect guys. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s shelved even for the postseason.

And when i say “this staff” I’m talking about previous years but I know Josh will follow the same thinking.
