There has not been a bigger suporrter of DD then me. I was on the 25 yardline 4 rows from the field right in front of the troy cheerlieders.I watched the worst game I've ever seen in 35 years as an adult of UT football. We should have blown them away... Stick a fork in me I'm done... we are awful! As much as I feel DD has brought honor back to UT football the hiring of Sal was a horendous mistake. Its on DD. To all the Grudenites... good luck... it will still be 5 years before we are relevant...I Luv UT am a 83 grad. I'm at a loss for words... I just don't know. Totally depressed.

No need to slit ur wrists.. U know we did atleast win the game, right?

I'd hate to see u if we would've lost... Lol

I don't know what you guys are talking about he has brought back honor players are still getting in trouble every time we look up. So he really hasn't even done a great job at that.

Sal was never gonna get this defense going the first year. But I don't put it all on him. The entire defensive staff needs help. Nobody knew where they were half the time.

The offense looks better by comparison, but there's issues there too.

All in all, we just suck.

There is a difference from "getting the defense going" to being one of the worst in college football. Sal looks completely clueless out there, and it's getting worse each week.

Dude, really. You need to do some research before posting something like this. You aren't impressing anybody (at least nobody over 18.)

I'm trying to maintain a positive attitude but this was the worst game win or lose I've ever seen... just don't know what to think.

There's a bottom line here everybody...doesn't matter if we do get Gruden it will still be a 3 to 5 year rebuild that's why I really wanted DD to get it done. Being at the game today just showed me we are years aways.

I'm not usually one to whine about a win but this was probably the most horrific performance by the defense this year. They truly are getting worse. How many 3rd n forevers can they give up in one game? 3rd n 3 or 4th n 1 we can stop but 3rd n 17 was a guaranteed conversion.

I will give Troy some credit. They do have the stats to suggest they have a good offense. I was expecting them to put up 24 points or so. But 48?!?!? Good grief. When we scored to tie it back up in the 4th I thought for sure they would score again to win with no time left.

It just makes me sick to think that if our defense was even half as good as last year, a d they weren't great last year, we would probably be no worse than a 2 loss team.

And you know this how? :ermm: You need to understand that if you have the RIGHT people in place it doesn't take long to build your team...however if you have a bunch of guys who have no clue what they are doing then yes it will take awhile...hire the right coach and it won't take long at all.

If we had our defense last year, we would basically only have 2 losses. I don't see Dooley getting rid of Sunseri, even if we kept him next year. That's why a Gruden led staff with the DC that has been speculated he would bring would get us back to the promise land much faster than you think.

The poster didn't say we have "more bad apples", he simply brought it to attention that Dooley hasn't "weeded out the bad apples"! Like people are trying to give him credit for!!
